CDC Backs Off Hepatitis B Vaccine at Birth Mandate

On Friday, December 5, 2025, the CDC’s advisory committee (ACIP) voted to end the universal recommendation for the hepatitis B vaccine at birth for infants born to mothers who test negative for the virus—a long-overdue embrace of nuance and a major victory for informed consent.

This shift to “individual-based decision-making” for low-risk infants is precisely the reform Secretary of HHS Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has championed for decades. The logic is straightforward: an infant with a hepatitis B-negative mother has virtually no risk of contracting the virus at birth, a fact presented in our 2017 docu-series “The Truth About Vaccines.” The ACIP’s 8-3 vote now allows pediatricians and parents to have a real conversation based on individual circumstances.

Unsurprisingly, the decision was quickly condemned by defenders of the old, rigid regime. Senator Bill Cassidy (R-La.) took to X to proclaim, “This makes America sicker.” Dr. Cody Meissner, toeing the Pharma line, insisted the change would lead to more infections, blindly repeating that the vaccine is “safe and effective.” Really? Safe for whom? Effective against what risk that doesn’t exist?

Cassidy and Meissner seem blissfully unaware—or willfully ignorant—of the science they dismiss. The Hep B vaccine has never been adequately tested for safety in the current infant schedule, nor have the risks been weighed against the “reward”…

They are also apparently unaware of definitive studies connecting the hepatitis B vaccine to autism, a link aggressively denied by the CDC despite compelling evidence that emerged within a decade of the 1986 Act and the subsequent explosion of the vaccine schedule.

In our 2017 docu-series “The Truth About Vaccines,” well before his tenure as Secretary of HHS, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. revealed that the CDC suppressed a 1999 study showing a staggering 1135% increase in autism risk from the Hepatitis B vaccine. The internal study, conducted by CDC researcher Thomas Verstraeten using the agency’s own Vaccine Safety Datalink, explicitly warned that thimerosal-containing vaccines “may be related to an increased risk of neurologic developmental disorders.”

Instead of publishing this critical finding, the CDC engaged in what Kennedy called “scientific misconduct.” Verstraeten was promptly relocated to Brussels by vaccine manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline, while the CDC handed the raw data to industry-connected researchers. For four years, they manipulated the dataset—systematically removing older children most likely to show autism symptoms, leaving only younger children “too young to be diagnosed.” The result was a sanitized, vaccine-exonerating version of the truth.

Now, let’s talk about the toxic load. At birth, over 99% of U.S. infants receive the Hep B vaccine. For a typical 8-pound baby, the dose contains almost 14 times the FDA’s daily safety limit for aluminum. By six months, a child may receive over 1,000 mcg of aluminum from vaccines—a dose not even deemed safe for a 350-pound adult. This isn’t medicine; it’s unchecked chemical assault on our most vulnerable.

This policy reversal is more than an adjustment; it’s a fundamental recalibration of power—away from Big Pharma mandates and toward parental choice and medical transparency. It proves Kennedy’s method: working within the system to restore flexibility and respect for individual health decisions.

While challenges remain, this decision is a clear signal. Secretary Kennedy isn’t just talking about change; he’s delivering it.
